OUR STORY

Azul and Alberto are dedicated to transforming the fashion and luxury industries to create a more sustainable future for us all. From the day they met at Sciences Po, Paris, in a business sustainability class, they both clicked by agreeing that there was room and hope for a better future. After years of professional experience in consulting, marketing and communication, in Paris and New York, and thanks to a shared passion for fashion, realizing that we as a society have to work to make the future we hope for come true. They have developed Lienzo.

Lienzo’s goal is to establish hand-in-hand collaborations with the main fashion industry actors to tackle the most important challenges facing the industry and capture their greatest opportunities. We can provide transformational approaches all along the supply chain and help these innovators meet compulsory regulatory requirements at local and international levels. Lienzo is a place where artists, companies, technical experts and business come together to collaborate towards a common goal: to co-create a future we can be proud of.

What is our approach?

MANIFESTO

Climate change and environmental degradation are existential threats that deepen social inequality and economic crisis. The fashion industry makes a sizable contribution to this problem by emitting massive levels of GHG, exacerbating air and water pollution. The lack of transparency across the production chain has terrible consequences, causing social inequality, negligence, and oppression, with women being most at risk as they make up the majority of this global workforce.

At Lienzo we are committed to a better future, and we believe in the collaborative and collective development of solutions. We believe we can empower companies to make the changes society needs, and we strive to co-create a future we can all be proud of.

Our vision is one of action. We want to revolutionize the fashion industry by providing companies with the tools needed to shape brands in a sustainable manner. From product to consumer, our goal is to create a positive transversal impact. Our mission is to see active participation across all sectors of the industry coming together to make positive, measurable, and long-term structural change. We will provide alternative solutions towards a sustainable future.

We are committed to being transparent, responsible, and innovative. We are committed to fighting green-washing practices by providing solutions that meet the current European regulatory requirements. Alongside our team of experts, we aim at providing our clients with technical, practical, long-term solutions.
